These terms cover what you can expect from 0house.vc and from applying to or participating in zer0house Cohort 1.0 ("the program"). By using the site or submitting an application, you agree to the terms below. Draft — pending legal review.
zer0house is operated by Investly Hub × 0house.vc. Reach the team at hello@0house.vc. TODO — confirm registered entity & address.
You agree that the information you submit on /apply is true, that you have the right to share it (including any links to other people's work you cite), and that you understand we will rely on it to make selection decisions. We may verify any claim you make.
Submitting an application does not create a contract, a promise of admission, or any other obligation on our part. We may accept, reject, waitlist, or close applications at our discretion. Decisions are final.
The program is described on the site (two tracks, three weeks, a one-week validation track, a two-week Hacker House, one Demo Day, plus investor intros and help applying to international accelerators for the strongest teams). We may adjust dates, capacity, format (in-person, hybrid, or remote segments), partners, mentors, and prize structure when circumstances require — e.g. force majeure, health-and-safety guidance, sponsor changes, or a materially better program design. We'll communicate material changes to admitted teams.
The strongest teams receive investor introductions after Demo Day and support applying to international accelerators. Any grant from our sponsors — its amount, payment timing, and the scope of any operating partnership — is set out in a separate written agreement signed between the team and the organizers at the end of the cohort. Nothing on this site constitutes that agreement.
The only equity Zero House takes is 1%, and only from the ten teams that join the Hacker House — and only if you go on to raise investment. If you do not raise, there is no obligation. The exact instrument (equity or an advisory arrangement) and the trigger are agreed in that separate written agreement at the point you raise, not before.
You keep ownership of your idea, your code, your designs, and anything you build during the program. We take no IP or license to your underlying product, and no equity as a condition of participating — the one limited exception is the 1% described under "Prize, grants, and operating partnership" above, which applies only to Hacker House teams that go on to raise investment.
By participating, you grant zer0house a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your team name, logo, founder names and likenesses, and a short program-related description of what you built, for the limited purpose of promoting the program (e.g. cohort recap posts, Demo Day coverage, press materials, future cohort marketing). You can ask us in writing to stop using your name/likeness in new materials at any time.
Everything published on 0house.vc — copy, images, video, design, code — is owned by the organizers or licensed to us. You may quote short excerpts with attribution; please don't mirror or rehost the site.
The program includes a residential, in-person Hacker House for about a month. We expect every participant, mentor, partner, and guest to behave professionally and respectfully. We do not tolerate harassment, discrimination, threats, theft, or illegal activity on premises or in program communication channels. Serious or repeated violations result in removal from the program without refund of any benefits, and may be reported to authorities where appropriate. TODO — link the full code-of-conduct doc once finalized.
The site and the program are provided "as is." We do our best to keep things accurate and reliable, but we make no warranties — express or implied — about the site, the program, the results of your validation work during Track 01, the commercial success of any product built during Track 02, or the suitability of any mentor's advice. Building a company is risky. Decisions you make based on what you learn here are yours.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, neither zer0house nor its organizers, partners, mentors, or sponsors are liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of or relating to the site, the application, the program, or any decision based on either. Where liability cannot be fully excluded, it is limited to the value of any cash benefit you have actually received from the program.
Personal data is handled per the Privacy page, which explains what we collect when you apply on /apply, why, and who processes it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Any dispute that can't be resolved by writing to hello@0house.vc will be brought before the competent courts of Almaty. TODO — confirm forum / arbitration preference with counsel.
We may update these terms — typically to reflect new partners, legal requirements, or program changes. When we do, we'll update the "last updated" date above. If the change is material, we'll also email admitted teams. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
Questions about these terms go to hello@0house.vc.
